1.
PRE-SOAK: When you have a large amount of laundry that is stained we recommend the 1 pint of EcoClean mixture. This soak   can be from a minimum of 30 minutes or as long as the next day. Do not mix with bleach at this point, as bleach has a tendency to rot and fade material. After the time you have allotted is up, wring out your laundry and save any excess for another soak by repeating the process described above. You can keep this same solution until it gets stinky, which depending on your laundry can be anywhere from 1 to 2 weeks.

2.  UPHOLSTERY: The best way is with a machine that extracts water. Follow the manufacturer’s cleaning instructions, but use the EcoClean in the place of other products. The following directions are for doing it by hand. Take the normal mixture from above and either spray the furniture with a spray bottle or apply EcoClean with a long bristle brush. Massage the surface and absorb water with clean DRY towel. Let dry overnight. DO NOT USE PAPER TOWELS!

3.  GUM, TAR, CANDLEWAX OR HARD SPOTS: Break up any hard spots by gently scraping with a fork. If hard spots persists, take full strength EcoClean and microwave the whole pint for 1 minute. Let cool, pint will be hot. Pour hot mixture on spot and work in by scraping gently with a fork going with the grain if there is one. Do this until matter brakes up, this could take 3 or 4 applications depending on the size of the spot.

REMINDER:  EcoClean is for washable materials only.  “Do not use on anything that is labeled, Dry Clean Only.”  Always check for color fastness by first testing EcoClean in an inconspicuous are to see if it is safe to use on your material.
