Tough Cleaning & Degreasing

Use this mixture to clean the following:  1/2 cup to 1 quart hot water

  •  Engines
  • Ovens
  • Grills
  • Soap Build-Up
  • Extremely Dirty Cars, Trucks, and Boats
  1. Apply thoroughly to degreasing equipment, pressure guns, steam cleaners, floor scrubbing machines, etc.  (For best results use a spray bottle)
  2. For engines and ovens, apply evenly and let stand on warm surface for 10-15 minutes.
  3. Scrub and rinse lightly.
  4. Wipe dry.  (No toxic fumes)

For most other surfaces, apply mixture, work in with normal washing materials and rinse.

 

CARBON REMOVAL FROM POTS AND PANS

  1. Spray pre-heated pot until there is a steam coming off surface.
  2. Wipe with 3M green Scotch Brite.
  3. Rinse as usual.

If carbon is thicker than a fingernail we recommend using a stainless steel pad instead of a green pad to help remove the build-up with out gumming up the green pad. Repeat process if necessary.


OVENS AND HOODS

  1. Pre-head oven between 250-300 degrees.
  2. Spray in sections.
  3. Remove sprayed area within 5-10 seconds with stainless steel pad.
  4. When surface is cool wipe clean with wet towel.

For thin grease a 3M Scotch Brite works even better than a steel pad.

NOTE: EcoClean is safe on aluminum surfaces and galvanized type hoods. Do not use 3m Scotch Brite on any galvanized surface.  It will scratch the finish.

FLOORS AND BASEBOARDS: Add 1/4 cup of EcoClean to standard mop bucket with HOT water. To sanitize add a cup of bleach OR ammonia, but do not mix those two together ever. Apply mixture with string mop or deck brush. If possible let sit 5-10 minutes then mop up with the rest of solution. Rinsing should not be needed at this point. For thick grime on quarry tile spray first with solution and rub in with a stainless steel pad then mop as usual.
